Silicone  fingertips  you  can  modify  shared  by  @machi_jewellery  -  “Earlier  this  year,  I  hurt  my  thumb  pretty  badly,  so  I  had  a  bandage  on  it  for  weeks.  I  had  to  protect  my  thumb  and  the  bandage,  so  discovered  these  silicon  finger  protectors.  They  are  stretchy  enough  that  it  fit  over  my  thumb  bandage.  
They  are  very  stretchy  and  all  the  finger  ones  are  the  same  size  and  the  thumb  one  is  a  bit  wider.  You  can  cut  them  easily  with  scissors  to  make  bands  for  just  covering  part  of  the  finger.  You  can  see  my  thumb  ones  are  grey  because  I  used  them  a  lot,  but  they  still  work  well.  I  have  decent  grip  with  them  on  because  they’re  not  very  thick.  They’re  not  perfect-  they  can  wiggle  their  way  off  your  finger-  but  they’re  very  useful  if  you  need  to  protect  your  fingers.  
I  still  use  them  if  I  have  a  minor  abrasion,  or  my  finger  is  a  bit  sore  or  I  have  a  torn  nail.  Without  a  bandage  underneath,  you  can  wash  your  hands  with  them  on  -  unlike  bandaids,  which  I  find  fall  off  once  they’re  wet.
